Softball Recap: Elgin Comes Up Short

The Elgin Comets lost 17-3 to the Crestview Cougars on Friday. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elgin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracelyn Edmonstone, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Crestview, their record now sits at 4-5.

Elgin has already played their next contest, a 14-4 victory against Waynesfield-Goshen on the 20th. As for Crestview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against New London on the 20th.
