Baseball Recap: Caravel Academy Takes Down Ranked Conrad Science

Caravel Academy faced Conrad Science in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Buccaneers walked away with a 10-7 win over the Red Wolves. The victory continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Red Wolves: they've now won three in a row.

Brady Thompson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Gavin Evans was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Caravel Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Conrad Science, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-2.

Coming up, Caravel Academy will face off against Dover at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Senators will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Conrad Science, they will take on Appoquinimink at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
