Basketball Recap: American Leadership Academy Piles Up the Points Against Swansea

American Leadership Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-44 victory over the Swansea Tigers.

Justin Richburg was the offensive standout of the contest as he went 7-for-12 en route to 14 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Makel Hillary, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 10 points.

American Leadership Academy has already played their next matchup, a 78-22 win against Northside Christian Academy on the 22nd. As for Swansea, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-36 loss against Pelion on the 22nd.
