Baseball Recap: Little River Academy Bumblebees vs. Shoemaker Wolves
Little River Academy barely beat Shoemaker the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Little River Academy Bumblebees' way against the Shoemaker Wolves on Thursday as the Little River Academy Bumblebees made off with a 9-1 victory. The Bumblebees' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jamie Chipman made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
