Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cameron). Their defense stepped up to hand the Lafayette Fighting Irish a 7-0 shutout on Monday. It was an even better day for Ava Henry as she scored three goals for her team.

Cameron has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four matchups. As for Lafayette, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Cameron and Lafayette will both be playing Savannah the next time they take the pitch. The Dragons will head out to face the Savages at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Fighting Irish will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
