Ridgeline had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 14-13 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Bountiful RedHawks 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Riverhawks have posted since April 12th.

Ava Buttars was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As for Bountiful, their loss dropped their record down to 17-3. They have struggled against Ridgeline recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

On Bountiful's side, Claire Yates made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Looking ahead, Ridgeline will face off against Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Riverhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Thunder have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season. As for Bountiful, they will challenge Grantsville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cowboys will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the RedHawks surely won't give up without a fight.
