The Clinton Red Tornadoes's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Blanchard Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Clinton's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Douglass 34-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Tornadoes considering their seven-point performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Blanchard took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 46-12 win over Chickasha. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Fighting Chicks are ranked 150th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Blanchard's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Coric Pierce, who picked up 153 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Pierce really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hudsen Periman, who threw for 219 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
