Softball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Conroe Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 24-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Conroe, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cleveland will face off against rival Oak Ridge at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Conroe is set to challenge their familiar foe College Park at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
