Basketball Recap: Germantown Red Devils vs. Arlington Tigers
Germantown was the 40-35 winner over Arlington when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Germantown Red Devils fell just short of the Arlington Tigers by a score of 68-65 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Tigers are ranked 27th).
Leading Arlington to victory were RJ Tate and Rod Lucas. Tate went 9 of 14 en route to 32 points, while Lucas dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Britain Jones, who posted seven points.
