Football Recap: Crofton Has No Trouble Against Arundel

Crofton hadn't done well against Arundel recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Crofton blew past Arundel 40-19. The result was nothing new for Crofton, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Despite the loss, Arundel still got an impressive performance from Naseem Tention, who rushed for 147 yards while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 161 yards and one touchdown. Tention's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 130 rushing yards.

Crofton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.7 points over those games. As for Arundel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Crofton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 16-6 defeat against Annapolis on the 31st. As for Arundel, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-7 win against Meade on the 30th.
