Basketball Recap: Blue Eye Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Blue Eye Bulldogs took a blow against the Marshfield Bluejays, falling 57-21. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Bluejays are ranked 29th).

Blue Eye dropped their record down to 9-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Marshfield, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

While Blue Eye had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
