North Miami extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Kayden Donaldson. The North Miami Warriors snuck past the Winamac Warriors with a 42-36 victory on Friday thanks in part to Donaldson, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. She has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Sailors, who posted six points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Winamac's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maggie Keller, who put up six points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kandace Kroft, who had 11 points and five rebounds.

North Miami has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Winamac, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 11-7.

North Miami didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-37 win against Northfield on the 11th. As for Winamac, they will host Triton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
