Basketball Recap: Chetek-Weyerhaeuser's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the St. Croix Falls Saints by a score of 57-44 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-35 back in December of 2024.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for St. Croix Falls, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will square off against Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser is facing Ashland at the right time seeing as Ashland is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for St. Croix Falls, they will face off against Hayward at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hayward knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matchups -- so hopefully St. Croix Falls likes a good challenge.
