Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Heyworth Hornets on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Mya Friese paced Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's offense, picking up 18 kills. Friese got some help from Brinlie Durbin and her 20 assists. Friese also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abree Zalman, each putting up two.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's win bumped their record up to 29-11. As for Heyworth, they moved to 27-11 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
