Baseball Recap: Pueblo Centennial Comes Up Short

Pueblo Centennial fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Skyline on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Skyline Falcons, falling 11-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pueblo Centennial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malykai Willmert, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Pueblo Centennial now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Skyline, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Pueblo Centennial will take on Fountain-Fort Carson in a tournament on Saturday. As for Skyline, they will square off against Pueblo Central at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
