Soccer Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 9-0 to the Mount Tabor Spartans. While losing is never fun, Glenn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 361st, while Mount Tabor are ranked 29th).

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Mount Tabor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Glenn will face off against rival East Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mount Tabor is set to square off against their familiar foe Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
