It may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Laurence Manning Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wilson Hall Barons, sneaking past 65-62. This was a revenge game for the Swampcats: when they faced off against the Barons last Saturday, they had to take a 75-64 defeat.

Despite the loss, Wilson Hall still got an impressive performance from Shawn Michael Matthews, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Matthews a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Knox Buxton, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
