Basketball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was the 63-51 winner over Perry when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Riverside Beavers took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perry Pirates on Thursday. The Beavers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Perry, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Riverside and Walsh Jesuit will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on December 27th. Riverside is facing Walsh Jesuit at the right time seeing as Walsh Jesuit is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Perry has already played their next game, a 57-47 win against Chagrin Falls on the 21st.
