Basketball Game Preview: Little River Academy Bumblebees vs. Thrall Tigers

The Little River Academy Bumblebees will square off against the Thrall Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Little River Academy will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Little River Academy is returning to their home court after beating Franklin on theirs, despite the fact Franklin has dominated at home this season. Little River Academy enjoyed a cozy 69-50 win over Franklin on Friday. Given the Bumblebees' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Lions are ranked 207th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Thrall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 29-24 to Rockdale. Thrall has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Little River Academy's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 26-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Thrall, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.
