Chaparral entered their tilt with Heritage on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 18-6. Heritage's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Shinabery was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 64 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Maddy Walcott, who threw for 199 yards and one touchdown.
Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
