Velva came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans. This was payback for the Aggies, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 25-12, 24-21.

Velva was led to victory by Keely Cadwell and Brynlee Zieman. Cadwell had 27 digs and three assists, while Zieman had seven digs and one assist. That's the most digs Cadwell has posted over her last 12 contests.
