Baseball Recap: North Mac Takes a Loss

After flying high against Edinburg last Wednesday, North Mac came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Carlinville Cavaliers by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Mac saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collin Etter, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases.

North Mac's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Carlinville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-5.

Looking ahead, North Mac will take on Pawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Carlinville, they will host Litchfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
