Soccer Recap: Wayne Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Wayne Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders. If the Eagle were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wayne Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Faith Baptist Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Wayne Christian Academy will challenge Crossroads Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Faith Baptist Christian Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Baptist Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
