Softball Recap: Three Forks Falls Short Against Ranked Manhattan

Three Forks faced Manhattan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wolves lost 14-6 to the Tigers. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Karlie McDermott was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra Lindquist, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Three Forks now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Manhattan, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Three Forks will welcome Florence-Carlton at 11:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Manhattan, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Columbus/Absarokee/Park City.
