Basketball Recap: Woodridge Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Woodridge was the 64-57 winner over Crestwood when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Woodridge Bulldogs fell 55-45 to the Crestwood Red Devils on Tuesday.

Crestwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dekota Johnson, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 26 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Brody Durham, who went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points and seven assists.

Woodridge's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7. As for Crestwood, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodridge will host Cloverleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cloverleaf knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Woodridge likes a good challenge. As for Crestwood, they will square off against Wickliffe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
