Soccer Game Preview: Western vs. Cypress Bay

Western hasn't had much luck against Cypress Bay recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Western Wildcats will take on the Cypress Bay Lightning in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Western's offense. They fell 2-0 to Pompano Beach on Wednesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cypress Bay, on the other hand, haven't lost since November 13th and they too continued that trend. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Suncoast on Friday. The Lightning might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by four goals or more this season.

Cypress Bay pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matchups. As for Western, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
