Basketball Recap: Luke Wolf's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Perry over Canton Central Catholic

Perry suffered their biggest loss since January 19th on Tuesday. They lost 69-47 to the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Wolf, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nico Martelli, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Perry fell to 4-1. As for Canton Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will take on McKinley in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Canton Central Catholic and Lake will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
