Basketball Recap: Thorp Comes Up Short

Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 66-56 to the Pateros Billygoats/Nannies. Thorp lost against Pateros in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 80-33 score last time.

Thorp's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pateros, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thorp will host Cascade Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pateros, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Soap Lake at 7:30 p.m.
