Basketball Recap: Providence Athletic Club Gets the Win

Providence Athletic Club was handed a 24-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes 33-31. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Anabel Catone continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 17 points. Charlee Lamb was another key player, posting four points and eight rebounds.

Despite the loss, Coastal HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Annabel Sanchez, who went 8 of 19 on her way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rae HeidtHarris, who posted four points and 13 rebounds.

Providence Athletic Club moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Providence Athletic Club didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-15 defeat against Northside Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 42-26 loss against Holy Trinity Classical Christian on the 10th.
