Volleyball Recap: Mallard Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mallard Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Palisades Pumas. The Mavericks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pumas apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Nadia Bridges paced Mallard Creek's offense, picking up three kills. Bridges were helped by Nadia Bryant and Madelyn Foster, who contributed three assists each. Finally, Kelsey Knox kept Mallard Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Mallard Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Palisades, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Mallard Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against East Mecklenburg on the 20th. As for Palisades, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Butler on the 20th.
