Baseball Recap: O'Connell Comes Up Short

O'Connell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Burton Pumas. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pumas this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-1 last Wednesday.

O'Connell's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Burton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Coming up, O'Connell will venture away from home to square off against Galileo at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Burton, they will host San Francisco Waldorf at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pumas are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
