Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Takes a Loss

Hillcrest lost against Skyline back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hillcrest came up short against Skyline, falling 18-5. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillcrest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Bodily, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Bodily also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Andrew Johnson was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Hillcrest's record is now 1-4. As for Skyline, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Skyline beat Hillcrest by a score of 4-2 later that day.
