Basketball Recap: Oxford Prep Finds Home Court Redemption Against Raleigh Charter

There's no place like home for Oxford Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They snuck past the Raleigh Charter Phoenix with a 46-41 victory on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Griffins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Oxford Prep's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Raleigh Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford Prep will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Vance Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Raleigh Charter will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Wake Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
