Volleyball Recap: Marionville Comets vs. Miller Cardinals
Marionville lost against Miller last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Marionville Comets fell just short of the Miller Cardinals by a score of 3-2.
Marionville took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 21-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-13.
Annaliyah Ghan paced Marionville's offense, picking up 15 kills. Ghan got some help from
Sydney Soutee and her 34 assists. Finally,
Avery Eden kept Marionville's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
