Football Recap: Montville Mustangs vs. Weequahic Indians
Montville and Weequahic squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Montville had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Indians and fell 33-6. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

This is the second loss in a row for Montville and nudges their season record down to 5-3-1. As for Weequahic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Montville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Weequahic, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ridgewood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Indians 7.3, the Maroons 3.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
