Soccer Recap: Bangor Takes a Loss

Bangor was the 2-1 winner over Comstock when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell just short of the Colts by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Bangor just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Bangor's loss dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Comstock, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-2 record this season.

Bangor will take on Bloomingdale at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bangor will be up against Bloomingdale's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.27 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Comstock, they will challenge Marcellus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Comstock are facing Marcellus at the right time seeing as Marcellus are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
