            Softball Preview: Sehome Mariners vs. Lynden Lions        
        
		
        
        
            The Sehome Mariners will take on the Lynden Lions at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The  teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Sehome has struggled recently with seven defeats in a row, while Lynden will arrive with three straight  victories.
Sehome came up short against  Ferndale on Thursday, falling  18-2.
 Sehome saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sarah Kruzich, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Lynden won against White River  on Friday with nine  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Saturday. The Lions were the clear victors by  a  9-1 margin over Cedarcrest. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Lynden's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Sehome, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.
 Sehome might still be hurting after the  12-1 defeat they got from Lynden  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024. Can the Mariners avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
