Cactus Shadows had won four straight home games dating back to last season and Gabby Procopio did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Falcons blew past the Crismon Rattlers 3-0 for which the team can thank Procopio, who had 24 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Cactus Shadows walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 26-24.

Cactus Shadows' victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Crismon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Cactus Shadows will head out on the road to challenge Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Crismon, they will be taking part in a tournament against Desert Sunrise at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.
