Basketball Recap: Joaquin Comes Up Short

Joaquin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 74-30 defeat at the hands of the Timpson Bears. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-13.

Joaquin lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Conner Rios, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was TJ Hawkins, who earned six points.

Joaquin's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Timpson, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Joaquin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-47 defeat against Waskom on the 24th. Timpson has also already played their next contest, a 52-30 loss against Gary on the 24th.
