Basketball Recap: Excel Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Excel and Shields had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Excel took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shields on Monday. Panthers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Shields since Monday.

Excel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Shields, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Excel will take on Leroy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shields, they have already played their next contest, a 57-54 victory against Monroe County on the 24th.
