Basketball Recap: Covington-Douglas Comes Up Short

Covington-Douglas was the 32-28 winner over Dover when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Covington-Douglas Wildcats were outmatched by the Dover Longhorns and fell 76-28.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Dover, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covington-Douglas will face off against Kremlin-Hillsdale at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dover, they will challenge Burlington at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Dover's defense has only allowed 28.9 points per game this season, so Burlington's offense will have their work cut out for them.
