Daviess County waltzed into their match on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They took down the Owensboro Red Devils 75-60. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 79-56 win back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Daviess County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Hoagland, who on her way to 20 points. What's more, Hoagland also posted a 90% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Lane, who to rack up 18 points.

Daviess County's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. As for Owensboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

Coming up, Daviess County is taking a road trip to take on Owensboro Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Owensboro Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.4 points per game this season. Owensboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
