Volleyball Game Preview: Channel Islands Raiders vs. Wildwood Wolves

The Channel Islands Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Wildwood Wolves on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Channel Islands comes in on three and Wildwood on ten.

Channel Islands is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past Magnolia 3-2.

Channel Islands took Magnolia into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 15-25, 23-25, 27-25, 15-12.

Channel Islands can attribute much of their success to Riley Luna, who had 21 digs, and Arthur Macalma, who had ten digs. That's the most digs Macalma has posted since back in March.

Meanwhile, Wildwood made easy work of Century on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-18.

Channel Islands' victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Wildwood, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-12.
