Football Recap: Standing Bear Grizzlies vs. Norris Titans
Standing Bear lost a close one when they played last Friday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Friday was a bit more commanding. They were dealt a 56-0 defeat at the hands of the Norris Titans. The loss leaves the Grizzlies without a win on the season.
Noah Waddel was nothing short of spectacular for Norris: he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The dominant performance gave Waddel a new career-high in rushing yards. Jarrett Behrends was another key player, rushing for 11 yards and two touchdowns.
Standing Bear's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Norris, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
