Football Game Preview: Central Decatur vs. Lynnville-Sully

Central Decatur will challenge Lynnville-Sully on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Central Decatur had a rough outing against Panorama two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Everything came up roses for Central Decatur against North Mahaska last Friday as the team secured a 66-12 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for Central Decatur as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lynnville-Sully put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. Everything went their way against Wayne as they made off with a 28-0 victory. The Lynnville-Sully offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the match anyway.

Their wins bumped Lynnville-Sully to 3-2 and Central Decatur to 1-4. After both teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one of them is set up to suffer a discouraging change of fortune.
