Softball Game Preview: Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles vs. Tempe Prep Knights

The Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Tempe Prep Knights at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Scottsdale Christian Academy lost 25-5 to Chandler Prep on Wednesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scottsdale Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Velasco, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Avery Begeman also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Scottsdale Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Tempe Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Scottsdale Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .525. However, it's not like Tempe Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .505. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
