Soccer Recap: Suburban Christian's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Suburban Christian came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hammond Baptist Swordsmen, falling 5-0. The loss was Suburban Christian's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Suburban Christian fell to 6-1-1. As for Hammond Baptist, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Suburban Christian will take on Crosspointe Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Crosspointe Christian Academy's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hammond Baptist, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hammond Central at 7:00 p.m. on September 8.
