Calvert put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Lakota Raiders 13-0. The result was nothing new for the Senecas, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Calvert let AJ Shoemaker and Charlie Palm run wild. Shoemaker went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Palm went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave Palm a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Connor Moyer, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Calvert kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lakota only managed five.

Calvert's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Lakota, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Calvert has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Bishop Watterson on the 25th. As for Lakota, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against New Riegel on the 27th.
