Football Recap: Hardin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Stevensville last Friday, Hardin came back down to earth. The Bulldogs were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 17-16 to the Butte Central Catholic Maroons. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Maroons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Hardin still got an impressive performance from Darrell Lefthand, who rushed for 177 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 158 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Tyran Joe, who picked up 99 receiving yards and one score.

Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Butte Central Catholic, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hardin will head out to face off against Browning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Butte Central Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Ronan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
