Basketball Recap: Ferris Takes a Loss

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through an 89-38 loss at the hands of the Life Waxahachie Mustangs. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-11.

Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Life Waxahachie, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ferris will face off against rival Venus at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Life Waxahachie is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillsboro at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
